Train-the-Trainer

The Train-the-Trainer course provides your organization with a cost-effective and flexible approach for developing an ongoing internal interpreter training program. You ensure your bilingual staff meets the ongoing challenge of providing effective communication to Limited English Proficient (LEP) patients. CyraCom's Train-the-Trainer course authorizes your designated trainers to deliver the Interpreter Skills Development course.

The Train-the-Trainer course is conducted over two days as an interactive workshop. Each participant has the opportunity to teach a module of the Interpreter Skills Development course and receive feedback on their knowledge of the subject matter and training techniques.

Prerequisites:

• Trainers have successfully completed the Interpreter Skills Development Training course
• Trainers have experience in conducting participatory adult education or training programs

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive licensed CyraCom courseware to be used in the delivery of the Interpreter Skills Development course.
